2 weeks ahead of the official opening
As happened last winter season, the early snow conditions and hard work of the Avoriaz ski lift operator Serma means that there will be a partial opening of the ski area this weekend, 30 November and 1 December 2024.
The areas that will be partially accessible are the Arare and Fornet sectors. There will be no links to Switzerland or Châtel this weekend.
Those with season passes for the 24/25 season can use these already for this weekend, and there are special prices for the day and the weekend for those wishing to buy lift passes.
The Prodains cable car will be open on Saturday and Sunday, and parking at Prodains car park will be free. Up at Avoriaz, cars will be directed to the covered parking which will also be free.
